Rustic & Autumnal Blush Pink Shades for Gemma & Jake's Big Day at St John the Baptist Church & Bartle Hall Hotel

These two were an absolute pleasure to look after, every meeting we had we ended up with us all just laughing, we loved all of their ideas, we loved their venues, fabulous Bartle Hall and the Church, St John the Baptist at Broughton this is a really special Church and the one that Gemma's family worship at so a hugely important part of their day, we've worked there many times, the vicar Shaun is truly wonderful, his sermons are excellent so much so I always want to sit in on his services, the music too is something to behold, the choir are breathtaking and the soloists simply sublime, my top tip for anyone getting married there make sure you book the choir and make sure Shaun isn't on is hols!!!
Gemma & Jake's mood board was a belter, it really helped us to thoroughly understand their ideas and inspire us to create a set of samples for their next appointment, we learned all about their plans and which suppliers they'd hired, we were looking forward to working with some great wedding pros including wedding photographer Mick Cookson, Andy Murphy DJ,  Toast Wedding Stationery, Bride's of Liverpool supplied the most exquisite Pronovias Plinette gown, Bows & Brushes did the bridal hair and Marks & Spencer supplied the Colin & Connie Bride & Groom Cake
We invited them back to our studio to see their sample designs created just for them...
A sample super tall table design that would double as a church pedestal design
We created samples for the ceremony and for the reception

We made Jake a sample boutonniere and Gemma a sample wedding bouquet

At last the big day arrived and Jason was at Gemma's suite at The Preston Marriott presenting the Bridal bouquets bright and early
Jason showed the lovely Gemma how to carry her wedding bouquet perfectly
This gorgeous bouquet included all that is great and good in fresh flowers in September, exquisite Garden Roses, Pale Blue Nigella 'Love in the Mist', Snowberry, Poppy Seed Heads, Succulnts, Viburnum Steel Berry, fresh fragrant Rosemary, the last of the summer's Peonies and Astrantia
We headed off to St John the Baptist just a few hundred yards down the road to set up for the ceremony and to pin on the Boutonnieres and corsages
Inside this glorious Church we'd dressed the start of the aisle with stacks of crates topped with seed trays filled with fresh flowers and candlelit hurricane lanterns

We'd included flowers synonymous with September and the early autumn, fresh Dahlias, Brassicas, September Flower 'Monte Casino', Hydrangeas, Hazel foliage, trailing Amaranthus, Astrantia, Snowberry, Blackberries, Steel Berries, fresh Rosemary, Ferns and Roses

The Pew Ends were dressed with posies of fresh flowers, each one unique and super cute
Posies of Dahlias, Brassicas, Snowberries, Roses and foliages dressed the pew end lining the aisle

On the back Altar we'd arranged two 'L' shaped arrangements and then framing the ceremony area ahead of the Choir stalls we'd placed two of our voluptuous pedestals
These magnificent pedestals were overflowing with floral fabulousness; Spirea, Antirhinnums, Nerines, Dahlias, Stocks, Hydrangeas, Astilbe, Larkspur, Roses, Veronica, Snowberrys, Brassicas, September Flower, Jasmine, Ivy, Eucalyptus and trailing Astrantia in faded vintage blush pinks and ivory shades

In the porch the boutonnieres were ready to be pinned on, our Bride Groom Jake's rather special buttonhole included fresh Rosemary, individually Rolled Rose Petals, Love in the Mist, Rose Buds, Astrantia all framed by fresh Eucalyptus Leaves

Jake, Gemma's super handsome Bride Groom looked perfect, his tie matched his buttonhole flower exquisitely

Jason attached the lapel corsage making sure it was placed in the perfect position

Father Shaun and the Choir were lining up ready for heading in to Church right on time...

Our Bride and Bridesmaid with super proud Dad Ian were just arriving
The lovely Lucy looked the most perfect Bridesmaid ever, wearing an absolutely gorgeous blush vintage pink lace dress, her bouquet of Roses, Succulents and berries looked heavenly.
The shades in the bouquet were so delicate all slightly faded blush pink, pale grey and duck egg blue shades
Lucy was wearing fresh flowers in her hair to match the bouquet

Our breathtakingly gorgeous Bride Gemma looked so excited...

Bride's Dad Ian led the way escorting his beautiful daughters to Church

 ...and there in...

We absolutely love Father Shaun he is a legend!!!
