An Epic Posting: Chris & Ritchie's Amazing Italian Masquerade Ball Wedding Day

This has to be one of my all time favourite weddings and I've been saving this epic posting for a "Thundery Wet Thursday" when there's an absolute need for something magical, something truly romantic and something utterly beautiful to lift our spirits...
Our Bride and Groom have impecable taste in all they do and they were lucky enough to be celebrating their marriage in an exquisite house, home of a family friend, so we begin our tale with a fairytale proposal in Italy the theme for this glorious wedding day
Our stunning Bride the lovely Chriss was all ready for act one of the days excitement, the couple were having an early morning Registry office wedding ahead of the full blessing later, for this part of the nuptials Chriss opted for a simply elegant gown and carried a single Chrysanthemum Bloom a flower very close to her and her families hearts

Whilst our Bride & Groom were doing the seriously important and legal bits, Jason and I set about arranging the flowers and putting the finishing touches to the scene for the all important blessing in front of family and friends.
All of the important guests were presented with fresh flowers to wear, each one individually created to compliment their ensembles
A classic Corsage of Phalaenopsis Orchid and fragrant Lily of the Valley
A Wrist Corsage of Cobalt Blue Delphinium Florets, Hydrangeas, Snowflake Roses and Viburnum Tinnus berries
A Wrist Corsage to tone with a pearl grey ensemble, Eucalyptus Globus, Astrantia, Albifora, Eryngium and individually rolled Metalina Rose Petals were used to create this extremely delicate design
Our Bride Groom's rather special Boutonniere with an Avalanche Roses, Lily of the Valley, Ranuncula, Albiflora, Astrantia and Viburnum all framed by a combination of English Ivy and Italian Olive
A beautiful Black and Ivory Epaulette textured Corsage of Rose Buds, Ranunculas, Snowberry, Eryngium, Eucalyptus, Alchemilla Mollis and Champagne Grass this was created to tone with a deep purple and black dress and jacket to be worn by the lovely Bride's Mum
The celebrations would be held in front of this glorious fireplace, we'd dressed it with a series of glass vases each filled with a simple posy of perfect Berries, Blooms of Foliages
Each vase was dressed in a variety of styles, this one was wrapped with a satin and diamante band and each posy inside each vase was bound with complimentary pearl grey satin ribbon, I do love this kind of attention to detail and for this particular Bride & Groom detail was all important

During the ceremony the Bride and Groom along with their lovely Mum's would be lighting a unity candle, we'd placed this on one of our crystal cake stands and swathed it in fresh ivy

On either side of the fireplace two magnificent pedestal designs on silver plated pedestal stands framed the scene, we included the Bride & Groom's own Masquerade Ball Masks, plumes of elegant Phalaenopsis Orchids, Hydrangeas, Roses, Albiflora, Arabicum and whole host of seasonal gloriousness besides
When we'd visited the venue, I was very taken with the wall colour shade and wanted to ensure our designs took on some of the hue creating a feeling of belonging.
